Seven years before its launch, the NASA pavilion at the Paris Air Show 92 introduced a full-scale replica of the Space Station Freedom with the latest designs for living and working in space. Space Station Freedom at this time was in development at NASA centers across the United States. After dozens of visits with scientists and engineers, A+A assembled a comprehensive design document that was used to construct this early mock-up.
The exhibition also included multimedia exhibits that explored the solar system, demonstrated potential environmental benefits of Space Station experiments, and celebrated NASA’s aerospace milestones.
