In 2013 the global semiconductor corporation was promoting the use of tablets at retail. A+A was commissioned to conceive and design a demonstration application that would show the potential of putting tablets into the hands of managers and sales associates as a multi-purpose device that could be used for sales assist, checkout and store operations.
Initially funded by the GSC, A+A continued to develop this working prototype as an independent project. Head Shop—Save Your Brain, is a made-up retail concept completely focused on offering personalized head protection for any sporting activity.
The product pages demonstrate the potential for sales associates to share the full product catalogue, show availability and location in the supply chain, compare products and pricing, offer dynamic deals, or lead customers to a customized configuration.
